Beautiful little handmade card made in the Philippines by Salay Handmade Paper Industries. They are a fairtrade organisation using grasses and leaves gathered from nearby villages to make their cards & employing over 150 people.

The cards are made in Salay, a small, fishing village in the Philippines, providing much needed employment, an alternative to young people heading off to the cities.

The elephant in this design is made from recycled paper,and the little plants are real leaves -  you can see the detail if you look closely - a really lovely, unique product.

The inside is blank for your own message. It is approx 12cm square and comes with an envelope made of recycled paper. Card may be packaged in a compostable cello bag. There is a little note included to tell the recipient all about the card.
