CORONAVIRUS DELIVERY UPDATE
Following the Government Advice, we are still open & allowed to trade. The Naughty Shrew is a small business, and is run from my spare room - so I am able to continue to work. As long as the Post Office is open, I will be posting parcels.
That being said, in order to minimise risk, I have switched off Faster Delivery for the time being. This means I only need to go to the Post Office once or twice a week, rather than everyday. You should still receive your parcel within the 4-6 days, but bear with us if it takes a little longer at times.

Standard delivery costs £3.50 and is sent using Royal Mail 2nd Class Post. We usually despatch same or next day, depending on the time of your order, so you can expect to receive your parcel between 4 & 6 working days from order.
If you need your parcel a little quicker, we can send it 1st Class Post - this costs £4.50 and you can select this option at the checkout.
Unfortunately we don't offer next day delivery at the moment - however if your order is urgent please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org BEFORE placing it and we'll see what we can do to help.

Standard post is free for orders over £50, or you can pay for faster delivery if you like.
We don't make any money on shipping, the price you pay is a little less than the cost of posting your order. We'd love to do free delivery but its not possible for our small business at the moment. We do occasionally do free delivery offers, so follow us on facebook or sign up to our newsletter to find out when the next offer is available.
REST OF THE WORLD
For posting to the rest of the world, we charge a flat fee of £15. All parcels are sent via Royal Mail track & trace service (if available). Please be aware that items can take a couple of weeks to arrive. You will be notified of your tracking number once the item is posted.
You are responsible for checking that the item you have ordered is not subject to any customs restrictions or additional taxes or duty. We will not accept any liability for this, we are a small business and can't possibly know each countries restrictions. If we get to the post office with your parcel & find out we cant ship, for example, soaps to the US, then we will have no choice but to cancel your order. We will, of course, let you know if this happens & you'll get a full refund. If you have any questions about international postage, please feel free to message us before placing your order.
We accept returns on all orders, that are in an unused condition and in original packaging, except, we regret we cannot accept returns on earrings for hygiene reasons. You can return your item to the address included in your parcel.
We check all our items carefully before sending out, so happily faulty items are rare. In the unusual circumstances that your item(s) are damaged, please contact us via email@example.com.

We are comitted to helping people to reduce their single use & disposable plastic, and as such we now ship all our orders in recycled cardboard boxes, using paper tape & recycled filler and tissue paper.
A note about plastic packaging
We have a few mailing bags left over from when we didn't do this, so occasionally you may get your order in a plastic bag - our plastic mailing bags ARE made from recycled plastic but we understand many of you are unable to further recycle these or are wanting to live plastic free. We may also occasionally use plastic (polystyrene) packaging chips or bubble wrap to protect your order. These are solely reused from our product packaging, and we believe its better to reuse than to throw away.
If you do not wish to receive any plastic packaging with your order, then you can let us know in the 'additional comments' section of the checkout & we will post your order plastic free.
