Beautiful handmade birthday card made out of recycled papers & natural fibres.

This card is made in Uganda by Paper Craft Africa, a non-profit for socially disadvantaged Ugandans, as well as providing an additional income to local farmers by buying their agro-waste. This is a fairtrade product.

Paper is made out of natural materials such as banana fibres, pineapple tops and elephant grass, blended and pulped and then left to dry in the sun. There is a lighter paper in the middle for you to write your message on, and the card is tied together with raffia string.

The words on the front read 'Happy Birthday!' and the inside is blank for your own message. It is approx 10x14cm and comes with an envelope made of the same recycled paper. Card may be packaged in a compostable cello bag. There is a little note included to tell the recipient all about the card.
