Eco-friendly coconut bowl set hand crafted by skilled artisan carpenters in Southern Vietnam. Each sustainable bowl is made from a real coconut and accompanied by a reclaimed ebony wooden spoon, made from offcuts at a local furniture company. The cocount bowl has a pretty leaf design carved into it.

This set contains a coconut bowl & spoon, and would make a fantastic vegan friendly gift.

As these are natural products, there are variations with size and shape. This is part of the charm. Not suitable for dishwashers or microwaves. Wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly after use.

Where does your bowl come from?

Your coconut bowls come from the Bên Tre region in Southern Vietnam. An area famed for the quality of it’s coconuts.

For many years the local farmers have made a modest income from selling coconut by-products such as coconut oils and coconut milks. Once the products were harvested the coconut shells and trees were seen as waste and burned to make way for the new crops.

By using coconut bowls you are helping to provide the local farmers with a secondary income, as well as preventing more coconuts and trees being needlessly burned.

Once the coconut shell bowls have been harvested they are hand carved by talented craftsmen to create a selection of stunning patterns. Organic, eco-friendly & sustainable.
